										Abstract: The underwater tools, means, apparatus, vehicles and submarines are considered in the paper. It is stated that the majority of initial sources of petroleum pollution are underwater located. The novel concept of composing the emergency rescue complex is provided. The complex consists of best industrial technical components which could effectively solve the problem of under-water oil spillage caused by damaged oil tankers and offshore platforms.

										Abstract: The ship noise causes marine pollution problems. The gear transmission contributes a significant part to ship noise. The replacement of regular gears by novel 3D point contact tooth gears is considered. The reduced noise levels up to 19 dBA are the advantages of transmissions based on invented gears having 3D point system of engaging. The implementation of invented novel transmission gives the opportunity of providing the industry by safe equipment allowing reduce the important component of ocean pollution, i.e. noise pollution.
