In order to evaluate the water quality index for Siwani Tehsil in the Bhiwani district, a systematic research was conducted. 500 water samples were taken from 25 sites and tested for physical and chemical parameters such as hydrogen ion potential, electrical conduct, alkalinity, chloride, total hardness, and total dissolved solids (pH, EC, Cl-, TH, TDS), among others. Along with these parameters, different inorganic salt ions are also tested, including calcium, magnesium, nitrate, fluoride, and sulphate ions. According to the analytical results of several Physico-Chemical parameters, certain water samples from the study locations had pH, EC, TDS, TSS, Ca2+, and Mg2+ levels that are higher than the recommended limit. Due to excessive levels of Ca2+, Mg2+, and TH, among other water quality parameters, the WQI (Water quality parameters) result shows that some sampling stations' water samples are highly unsuitable for consumption. Appropriate suggestions were made to enhance the water quality.
