In the present work, Strontium Ferrite (Sr Fe) nanopowder is synthesized using sol-gel auto—combustion technique. The particles are characterized through structural and morphological analyses (XRD, FTIR and SEM). The size of the grown particles ranges from 100-170nm. Furthermore Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA-AG) and nonlinear optical investi-gations have been performed to examine the thermal and optical limiting characteristics of the samples. The findings indicate that the sol-gel combustion method is an effective synthesis approach for precisely tuning the optical limiting properties.
