A Review: Artificial Intelligence in Cyber Security- Detecting and Preventing Cyber Threats

Abstract

Cyber threats such as malware, ransomware, phishing, and advanced persistent threats (APTs) continue to move forward, due to which traditional security measures are ineffective. Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a transformative role in cy-bersecurity by enhancing threat detection, automating responses, and improving risk mitigation strategies. This research paper explores AI-driven cybersecurity solutions, including machine learning (ML) techniques, deep learning, anomaly detection, natural language processing (NLP), and automated threat intelligence. Additionally, this paper reviews current AI-based cybersecurity implementations, challenges, and future prospects. The present study leads to AI's ability to adapt to new and highly developed cyber threats while addressing morally correct, legal, and technical limitations.
