The development of effective teaching methods for children with disabilities is a key priority of modern education systems, particularly within the framework of inclusive education. Ensuring equal access to quality education requires teaching approaches that consider individual abilities, learning needs, and psychosocial characteristics of learners with disabilities. The objective of this study is to analyze and evaluate the main methods of teaching children with disabilities and their effectiveness in promoting academic achievement and social integration. A qualitative analytical approach was employed, including the review of national educational policies, inclusive education practices, and pedagogical strategies applied in educational institutions. The study focused on individualized education planning, curriculum adaptation, differentiated instruction, collaborative learning, and the use of information and communication technologies. The findings indicate that individualized approaches, particularly the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs, significantly improve learning outcomes by aligning educational goals with students’ abilities and needs. Curriculum flexibility and differentiated instruction enhance student engagement and participation, while collaborative teaching methods support the development of social and communication skills. The integration of digital technologies increases accessibility, interactivity, and motivation among learners with disabilities. Psychological and pedagogical support was identified as a critical factor in maintaining emotional well-being and ensuring effective learning. However, challenges remain related to teacher preparedness, social adaptation within mainstream classrooms, and the need for continuous professional development. In conclusion, the effective education of children with disabilities requires a comprehensive and flexible teaching framework that combines individualized instruction, technological tools, and supportive learning environments. Strengthening inclusive education practices, improving teacher training, and fostering social awareness among students are essential for enhancing educational quality and ensuring the successful social integration of children with disabilities.
