Abstract: There are many macroeconomic and non macro economics factors or variables related to the country’s economic growth. Among the most important factors believed to be related to the rate of economic growth, the issue of income inequality in the process of national income distribution is the vital one. So, understanding the relationship between these two economic variables is important. If there is a clearer understanding about the relationship between income inequality and the rate of economic growth, particular economic policies could be employed in the appropriate manner to deal with income inequality and encourage economic growth. So, main objective of the study is to analyze the linkage between economic growth and income inequality in Ethiopia. The linear regression model is applied in order to investigate the long-run and short run relationship between the dependent variable (real GDP) and included explanatory variable. The result shows that there is a stable long run relationship between real GDP and included variables. And the empirical results reveal that income inequality measured by gini coefficient is found to have negative impact on economic growth. The study has also an important policy implication which implies that economic growth can be improved significantly when the income inequality among people reduced through different redistributive mechanisms.

Abstract: The recent advances in the information and technology world, have transformed the role of local and foreign education sectors. When considering the local education system, it is clear that the indigenous qualities we have inherited from our ancestors should be preserved in an era of decay. Indigenous knowledge is far more spoken of and holds higher value than just knowledge itself. Across the world, special attention is focused not just on knowledge, but on indigenous knowledge. Therefore, it must be acknowledged that the words and the ideas of the indigene are of great importance. Indigenous knowledge, rather than traditional knowledge, is a cultural heritage of every human society. Thus, indigenous knowledge is specific to a particular geographical area. That indicates that, the knowledge possessed by the people living within a certain geographical area or region is their traditional knowledge or indigenous knowledge. Sri Lanka: a country which has an ancient history in writing traditions preserves its uniqueness through palm leaf manuscripts. It can be considered that palm leaf manuscripts have vastly contributed in the process of presenting the local historical knowledge from generation to generation. The Palm Leaf Manuscripts contain a wealth of knowledge related to various subject areas. The research asked whether Sri Lankan university students were aware of Palm Leaf Manuscripts. It examined the students' understanding on why Palm Leaf Manuscripts are a locally valued heritage that should be preserved. A sample of undergraduates from the Department of Library and Information Science, History and Archeology from the University of Kelaniya was obtained for this purpose. The main data collection instrument used was the questionnaire method, and primary data was collected through distributing the questionnaire to the undergraduates of each department using the random sampling method. Secondary data was collected through the printed sources which were considered relevant to the research. Data analysis showed that they had a general understanding of Palm Leaf Manuscripts.

Abstract: India and Israel both speak to antiquated developments and offer a British pilgrim past. They were the main states to get autonomous (in 1947 and 1948, individually) in the post–World War II wave of decolonization. Both were conceived out of messy partitions and have kept up vote based systems from that point onward under adverse conditions. Yet, regardless of the two states' likenesses, it took more than forty years for them to build up a warm relationship including full discretionary relations, prospering respective exchange, and key collaboration. The rapprochement among India and Israel is a significant part of another key scene in the more noteworthy Middle East that incorporates Central Asia and portions of the Indian Ocean littoral. Although both the countries differ in size, population, area and culture, but are similar in their way of Scientific as well as Diplomatic dealings. The bond between Narendra Modi & Benjamin Netanyahu has further strengthened the bilateral ties on technological and healthcare front. We will look upon the collaborations and ties between India & Israel in the field of science and technology, right from the start and its evolution since inception.

Abstract: Research is part of the fundamental responsibilities needed in an academic institution. Therefore, it is expected that tertiary institutions should take importance in capturing, maintaining, and preserving their student's and staff's intellectual output; It will serve a significant role in disseminating scholarly materials, preserving, and diffusing the institution's research work. Hence, the research developed an institutional repository for academic research work for the Department of Computer Science, Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA). The design made use of HTML (Hypertext mark-up language), CSS (Cascading style sheet), JAVASCRIPT, PHP (Hypertext pre-processor), and MySQL database. The system requirement for the design includes a processor (CPU) with 2.16 gigahertz (GHz), 4GB of RAM, Monitor Resolution 1024 X 768 or higher, a minimum of 20 GB available space on the hard disk, Intel Pentium processor, Keyboard, 64-bit operating system, and a Window 10 operating system. This design is expected to benefit the students and other users regarding the accessibility of materials to users and preserving student research. It will help create global visibility for the research works and collect content in a single location. However, the invention is limited to the sample size. Therefore, it recommends that a more advanced repository system be developed with time, which will capture studies across all faculties in the institution or across various institutions in the country.
