About This Special Issue
The immobilization of interest enzymes, metabolites and microorganisms had significant applications in the food, medical, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The interest of the technique lies in the recycling of molecules by prolonging their lifespan, their use in bioreactors. Immobilization of microorganisms or some molecules such as enzymes, antibiotics and vitamins; by adsorption, covalent bonds, crosslinking, encapsulation ... allows to choose a mode of use, ensuring the increase of their stability over time while their separation and their reuse during the processes of bioconversions.

Aims and Scope:

  1. Immobilized enzymes and their applications
  2. Immobilized metabolites and their applications
  3. Immobilized microorganisms and their applications
