About This Special Issue
This Special Issue shall examine Islam and its benefits in education, culture and society. Much of the world understands Islam to be a religion that promotes violence, prevents education for women and create obstacles within society to be free. This Special Issue will look to show Islam in a light that is never seen before. It shall focus on articles from women and men who understand Islam within an educational avenue and look for them to explain how Islam provided them with hope and strength to push forward and become educated. The Special Issue will look to overcome the stereotypes that have kept much of the world to live in a bubble that needs to be removed to allow those that are not familiar with Islam to see the positive impact Islam has had on society.
