About This Special Issue
Peru and others countries have problems of environmental pollution in natural resources, such as water, soil, air, flora and fauna. Mining is a resource that offers great economic benefits, however, the classic legal and artisanal methods used cause irreparable damage to the environment, animals and man, much more so, if mining is illegal and the method is handmade. Agriculture provides food for the population and animals, the indiscriminate use of pesticides causes the deterioration of soils, vegetables and water quality, contaminating the environment, animal and man species by food chain, in addition to containing heavy metals, chemical and biological substances. If the surface water is not of good quality, and the wastewater is not treated, the contaminant load will be greater, as well as the sediments. Industry is another primary activity for population development, however the methods used in the production process can cause negative impacts to the environment.
However, there are many physical, organic and inorganic, and biological classical methods to counteract these pollution problems that afflict a country. The research therefore proposes alternative solutions using clean technology, friendly engineering, in order to give added value to the waste and final disposal of the restored resource. Methods by which it shows the reduction of the pollutant by optimizing time, operating costs, energy savings, among others. It is known that there is natural contamination, however anthropogenic contamination is the most dangerous. Therefore the job of a researcher is to offer the community opportunities to save the world from pollution.
