About This Special Issue
Modern era is an era of application of theoretical concepts to the real world problems. Like other sciences such as Physics, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Geology and Biology, Mathematics too has emerged as basis of all the applied sciences. Different branches of Mathematics such as Geometry, Algebra, Topology, Functional Analysis, Complex Analysis, Optimization, Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations etc. has found a front space in the study of Applied Mathematics.

There are number of real world problems which are solved using mathematical tools. Heat conduction equation, advection diffusion phenomenon, fluid flow in circular and semi circular pipes, Navier Stokes equation, Prey predator model are some examples of mathematical equations which are widely used in different branches of science, engineering and even in industry.

The present issue will provide a platform to young researchers and mathematicians to present their work in the special issue of SPG, share their views, ideas and also to be benefitted by the work of other mathematicians.

The topics covered in the special issue will be as follows, but not limited to these

1. Wavelets
2. Numerical Analysis
3. Mathematical Modelling
4. Fluid Flow in porous media
5. Solution of ordinary and partial differential equations using numerical and analytic methods
6. Homotopy Perturbation method
7. Transportation Problems
8. Mathematical models in finance
9. Inverse problems
