About This Special Issue
Geoinformatics is one of the emerging technologies, which address the problems of geography, geology and related branches including Cartography, Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, Geographic Information System (GIS), Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), Geodesy, and Web mapping. This technology can be effectively applied in many fields viz., geography, agriculture, archaeology, environment, geology, health, military, urban and rural development, transportation, telecommunication, power, natural resources (especially water, land, and forest), natural and man-made disasters, oil and natural gas, mobile mapping, etc. This technique is cost efficient and time saving, and is useful for better and faster decision making with less manpower. This special issue will address the multifaceted applications of geoinformatics in various fields. Original research papers with applications of geoinformatics in the following areas are invited.
Aims and Scope:
1. Remote Sensing
