About This Special Issue
Computational Diagnosis is related to the development of new algorithms and techniques that can justify the behaviour of any system. If the system functions properly then the algorithm should be able to determine accurately the failure of any system and also the type of problem it will face. The computation is based on observations, which provide information about the current behaviour. Almost many individuals in worldwide will have major problems. Despite its prevalence, diagnosing any cause of illness is a major challenge in the medical field. Even though 50% of the illness and the cause for the illness are identified, researchers contributions also play a major role in Medical diagnosis. Many computational techniques are developed based on statistical and evolutionary algorithms and soft computing. It is very evident that the computational diagnosis will play a major role in developing new algorithms in future.VLSI Technology is an emerging field in the Current Technological scenario due to its advancements in fields of systems architecture, Analog and digital logic and circuit design, IC wafer fabrication, testing and systems applications

Bio Signal processing and Image processing are one of the thrust areas of research. Bio Signal Processing and Image Processing include the analysis, interpretation, and manipulation of signals. In general during processing some aspect of the signal is either extracted, or transformed. The Signal or Image Processing includes operations like filtering, compression, feature extraction, enhancement and Spectral analysis. Available image processing techniques often face lot of problems due to the noise and distortions generated during Image acquisition. Under such conditions, the use of computational diagnosis will help us to get new solutions and algorithms to the real world challenges. This special issue is aimed at sharing the innovative ideas and algorithms mathematically and theoretically by the researchers in the bio signal and Image processing domain. We expect the young minds to contribute original research articles as well as review articles that will address about the Computational diagnosis approaches to provide a solution to the existing signal and image processing issues.
