About This Special Issue
Nowadays, the optimization is a key element for each industrial problem. It includes several different kinds of methods in order to provide adequate solutions, such as energy, flow, volume, power, scheduling, allocation, etc. In this context, the aim of this special issue is to gather researchers and collect their contributions with regards to the development and application of optimization methods in the industry. Both theoretical contributions and papers on practical applications are welcomed, to highlight the potential, the limitations, the criticalities and difficulties of optimization in the industry, and the needs for further developments.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
1. Continues/Discrete Problems.
2. Linear/Nonlinear Programming.
3. Metaheuristics.
4. Novel optimization methods.
