About This Special Issue
With the increase in wireless communications system, we need devices to communicate and those devices need Antennas. For example the GSM, 3G/4G-LTE/WiFi, Wimax and Ultra wide band system require antennas. These antennas will be used both for outdoor and indoor applications. In some special cases we need conformal antennas according to the transmitter and receiver platform. In some cases we need Jammers for wireless communication in special places like hospitals, worship places, concert halls, meeting rooms where the ringing of mobile is unwanted and undesired so Jammers should be installed and thus require jammers antennas. Furthermore with the increasing terrorist activities where the Improvised explosive devices (IED) are connected to these wireless systems, so in those danger zones Jammers are required may be ground base or vehicular based to pass the convey safely. One more thing is the miniaturization of wireless devices miniaturized antennas are necessary and nowadays met materials, EBG, and FSS are used for this purpose. I will be very great to use FSS as a superstrate to increase the gain of the antenna.

Aims and Scope:

1. Meta-material Inspired Antennas
2. The effect of Antenna Radiation on Human Body
3. Multi Band Antennas
4. Wire Antennas
5. Patch Antennas
6. Slot Antennas
7. FSS Antennas
8. Radome enclosed Antennas
