About This Special Issue
It is known, wastewaters are polluted by hazards organic dyes, inorganic dyes and heavy metals. These contaminants have harmful effect towards human and animals as well. Therefore, the goal is removing almost the pollutants from water to reuse it in agriculture and Industry. Methyl orange (MO) is an acidic anionic mono-azo dye commonly and continuously used in textiles, and other commercial products. This dye is toxic to aquatic life. Methylene Blue (MB) and methyl orange and some other organics are a synthetic basic dye. Methylene blue stains to negatively charged cell components like nucleic acids; when administered in the lymphatic bed of a tumor during oncologic surgery, methylene blue may stain lymph nodes draining from the tumor, thereby aiding in the visual localization of tumor sentinel lymph nodes. There are some nanomaterials help to remove some of these pollutants such as metal oxides. The project aim is choose the suitable NPs as catalyst for removing one or more of these pollutants by irradiation UV light. The effect of adsorbate concentration, adsorption agitation time and pH solution on the adsorption performance should be studied with irradiation of UV light.
