About This Special Issue
The purpose of this study is to examine Millenials’ perception of leadership and role of leader. To do this, a qualitative research method photo-voice is used. As a result of this study, Millenials need the leader who spoke that not follow me but support you. Next, Millenials perception of leader’s roles are as follow. First role is navigator. Millenials look forward to seeing something to clear goal and direction in their work. Second role is facilitator. Especially they want to make a positive atmosphere in their organization by leader. Third role is eliminator. They need to remove incorrect methods and laws in the work process. Forth role is provider. They want to get specific feedback from their leader in order to work well. Finally, sponsor’s role is showed. Millenials are long for develop their competence and support to work. So leader have to support all around. The significance of this study is that it is carried out leader’s role in the organization from the qualitative research method called the photo-voice which is a participatory practice research method, presented specifically and realistically in the language of the Millenials.
